Mark Filshie has 18 years of experience as an Executive Search and Selection consultant in Asia with a focus on Strategy, Operations & Transformation recruitment. Mark started his career in Edinburgh where he focused on international recruitment which then led him to embark on his overseas career starting with KPMG in Saudi Arabia and eventually landing in Vietnam. During this time, he has been based in several Southeast Asian countries and placed senior executives across the region in Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines etc.
Mark’s clients are predominantly within the Management Consulting space in an array of industries such as: Financial Services, TMT, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods & Retail, Energy and High-Tech.
The typical mandate may include any of the following requirements: Strategy, Supply Chain & Operations, Digital Transformation, AI & Data, Risk, M&A, Performance Improvement, Sustainability & Change.
During his downtime, Mark is kept very busy with his family and poodle but when he has some free time, Mark will usually be found at his local tennis court.

Mark enjoys mentoring and coaching recruiters in the management consulting space; providing one-on-one support from entry-level recruiter to managers looking to take the next step up in their career.
He also attends conferences and seminars on latest market innovations and trends in various fields, which recently include, Gen AI, Smart Manufacturing and Cyber Risk.
