Horton International recently partnered with Educational Initiatives to appoint a senior leader to drive its international growth and expansion strategy.
This was a critical leadership appointment for the organisation, which leverages cutting-edge research and technology-based solutions to transform how children in K-12 schools learn. As it expanded its international presence, the organisation sought a strategic leader to support the next phase of its growth.
Reflecting on the search, Pranav Kothari, CEO of Educational Initiatives, commented:
“We mandated Horton International India to search for a strategic business leader, who could scale our international presence as well as revenues 10X.
The role required an accomplished leader with a robust track record in global business development, market expansion, strategic partnerships, and commercial scaling within the education – specifically K12 – sector. Above all, we needed a strategic thinker who could also execute relentlessly. While the team from Horton International had done some work in the education and skilling sectors in the past, this role was new for them.
What we really appreciated about the team was their first principles-based market research that extensively covered the addressable talent pool for a unique role like this. The team from Horton International was able to attract the best of the available talent in the Middle East, where the role was based, and worked collaboratively with us to move the search to a conclusion. The interview process was delayed significantly on account of the Middle East situation in March-May 2026, but the team from Horton International kept the candidates engaged and we were able to conclude the search by June 2026.
The team’s professional approach and the time they invested in thoroughly understanding our brief were among the key factors leading to a successful close.”
